Jasper Canadian Rockies Half Marathon

Our goal is to ensure a safe, enjoyable experience for athletes while minimizing inconvenience to residents and visitors.

Full Road Closures (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Highway 93A between Highway 16 and Highway 93
No vehicle access to Highway 93A, Alpine Village, Tekarra Lodge, or Old Fort Point on event day.
Closure is required to ensure athlete safety and limit roadside parking during the race.
Trailhead Closures
Note: Any vehicles parked in the areas below must remain until the event concludes.
Old Fort Point (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
No access via Highway 93A / Old Fort Point Road.
Lake Annette (1:00 PM – 4:00 PM)
No access to Lake Annette via Lake Annette Road during this time.
Roadway Restrictions (12:00 PM – 5:00 PM)
Hazel Avenue (Connaught Drive → Highway 16)
Single-lane access maintained to Stan Wright Drive and Compound Road for tenants.
Hazel Avenue @ Highway 16
Expect intermittent traffic stoppages to allow runners to cross safely.
Longer delays anticipated at 1:00 PM and 1:15 PM for race starts.
Old Lodge Road (Lake Annette Road → Jasper Park Lodge)
Single-lane alternating access to and from Jasper Park Lodge will be available throughout the event.
Lake Edith via Maligne Lake Road
Access restricted to local traffic only during the event.
