Registration Fees & Notes

• 5% GST will be applied at checkout.
• A mandatory donation of $10 (21K & 10K) or $5 (5K) supports the Rebuild Jasper Fund/Jasper Healthcare Foundation
• All entries include a commemorative cotton race shirt.
• Online registration closes at noon (MST) on Friday, April 24, 2026, or when sold out.
• A small online processing fee applies.
• All prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD).
• Registration is subject to final Parks Canada approval.

Event & Age Requirements

• Participants must be 14+ (Half Marathon) or 12+ (10K) by December 31, 2026.
• Participants under 18 must provide a signed parental/guardian consent form.
• All participants must show photo ID at check-in.
• Organizers reserve the right to deny entries or changes at their discretion.

Wildlife & Environmental Policy

Due to the unique nature of Jasper National Park, wildlife interactions may occur along the race route.
Organizers may delay, reroute, shorten, or cancel the event as deemed necessary under the Event Wildlife Interaction Response Plan.
No refunds will be issued in these cases.

Refund & Deferral Policy

Entries are Non-Refundable, Non-Transferable, and Non-Deferrable to future events.

Participants unable to attend due to illness or injury are not eligible for a refund, transfer, or deferral.

• The option to purchase additional insurance for these instances is available during the registration process.

Force Majeure & Event Cancellation Policy

The safety of all participants, volunteers, and staff is our highest priority. Circumstances beyond the organizer’s control — including but not limited to wildfire, poor air quality, wildlife activity, severe weather, natural disaster, public health restrictions, or other force majeure events — may impact the safe delivery of the Jasper Canadian Rockies Half Marathon.

• If the event must be modified, shortened, delayed, or temporarily suspended for safety reasons, the event will be considered complete once any distance has been offered. No refunds or credits will be issued in these circumstances.
• If the event is fully cancelled prior to race day due to wildfire smoke (AQHI 7 or higher), government restrictions, or other uncontrollable factors that prevent safe participation, organizers may, at their discretion, provide one of the following options:
  • Free entry into the Virtual Event for 2026, or
  • A credit of up to 40% of the paid entry fee toward the 2027 Jasper Canadian Rockies Half Marathon.
• Charity contributions, processing fees, and optional upgrades are non-refundable and not included in any credit calculation.
• We will follow all current Parks Canada and public health guidelines in effect at race time and communicate updates via email, social media, and the event website.

These measures balance fairness with the need to ensure the long-term sustainability of the event and its continued support of the Jasper Healthcare Foundation.

Agreement

By completing registration, each participant agrees to abide by all Jasper Canadian Rockies Half Marathon Rules and Policies and acknowledges the inherent risks of participating in an outdoor mountain-park event.
