05 / Important information
Know before you go.
Read these conditions before registering. Several policies on the older site conflict with newer race information, so the affected details are marked for confirmation rather than silently changed.
Age requirements and check-in
The previously supplied race rules list minimum ages of 16 for the 21K, 12 for the 10K and 8 for the 5K. The old registration page instead states 14 for the 21K. Confirm the final 2027 minimum ages and age-calculation date before publication.
Participants under 18 may require signed parent/guardian consent. Photo ID was required at check-in on the previous registration page.
Transfers, refunds and deferrals
The old registration page says entries are non-refundable, non-transferable and non-deferrable, but a separate Event Details page has described paid transfers. Publish one consistent 2027 transfer policy here.
Refund protection, if offered through the registration provider, is subject to the insurer's terms and conditions.
Wildlife, weather and air quality
Jasper is a mountain-park environment. Wildlife activity, poor air quality, severe weather and other emergencies may require the event to be delayed, modified, shortened or cancelled. Follow directions from organizers and Parks Canada.
Review the Weather & Air Quality Protocol for current event guidance.
Cancellation and force majeure
The former page contains specific discretionary 2026 virtual-entry and credit terms, which have not been carried forward as 2027 promises. Confirm the 2027 cancellation, credit and donation terms before registration opens.
Any final policy should explain how processing fees, charity contributions and optional purchases are handled.
Course rules and participant agreement
All participants are expected to follow the marked course, respect the environment and obey event officials. Registration constitutes acceptance of the final event waiver, rules and safety policies.
